EcoFlow vs Jackery: the 1 kWh head-to-head

Quick answer
Matched at about 1 kWh, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus and Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 split the difference. EcoFlow lists more AC output (1,800 W vs 1,500 W), 2.5 times the solar input (1,000 W vs 400 W) and faster UPS switching (under 10 ms vs within 20 ms). Jackery lists slightly more capacity (1,070 vs 1,024 Wh) and is 3.8 lb lighter at 23.8 lb. Both use LFP cells rated for 4,000 cycles. Both brands tie warranty coverage to buying from an authorized seller, so on Amazon choose listings sold by the brand.
The two 1 kWh stations side by side
| Spec | EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus | Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 1,024 Wh | 1,070 Wh |
| AC output | 1,800 W (surge 3,600 W) | 1,500 W (surge 3,000 W) |
| AC outlets | 6 | 3 |
| Solar input | 2 ports, 500 W each | 2 ports, 200 W each (400 W max) |
| UPS switchover | Under 10 ms | Within 20 ms |
| Weight | 27.6 lb | About 23.8 lb |
| Cycle rating | 4,000 cycles to 80%+ | 4,000 cycles to 70%+ |
| Fastest USB-C | 2 ports at 140 W | 1 port at 100 W |
By energy per pound, Jackery packs about 45 Wh/lb (1,070 divided by 23.8) against EcoFlow's 37 Wh/lb (1,024 divided by 27.6). EcoFlow answers with more outlets and higher output across the board.
Where EcoFlow pulls ahead
- Solar: two inputs at up to 500 W each, or 1,000 W total, 2.5 times Jackery's 400 W.
- Output: 1,800 W continuous with a 3,600 W surge, and an X-Boost mode EcoFlow lists for devices up to 2,200 W.
- Expansion: EcoFlow lists support for its DELTA 3, DELTA 2, DELTA 2 Max and DELTA Pro 3 extra batteries.
- Other inputs: 1,500 W AC charging, 800 W car charging and a smart generator input.
EcoFlow's spec footnotes say its figures come from its own internal measurements and vary with conditions such as temperature.
Where Jackery pulls ahead
- Weight: about 23.8 lb, 3.8 lb lighter than the DELTA 3 Plus, with 46 Wh more capacity.
- Emergency charging mode: the manual describes a fast AC charging mode switched on in the app, but says to use it only when necessary, not for regular long-term use.
- Footprint: 12.87 x 8.82 x 9.72 in, against EcoFlow's 16 x 8.0 x 11 in.
Jackery's lower cycle rating threshold (70% capacity rather than EcoFlow's 80%) means its 4,000-cycle claim ends at a lower remaining capacity, so the two cycle numbers are not equal.
UPS: what the switch times mean
Both can pass wall power through and switch to battery when the grid drops:
- EcoFlow lists switching in under 10 ms.
- Jackery says the 1000 v2 switches to battery within 20 ms, does not support 0 ms switching, and should not be used with equipment that needs uninterruptible power, such as data servers and workstations. It recommends trying it several times with your device first and connecting only one device.
Jackery's warning about servers and workstations is a reminder that pass-through switching still has a gap. Plan backup for medical equipment with your provider.
Warranty terms when you buy online
The warranty fine print is where buying on Amazon matters:
- Jackery: its manual says the warranty applies only to purchases from the official Jackery website, Jackery-branded third-party platforms or local authorized dealers. It gives a 3-year standard term plus a 2-year extension if you register. Its product page instead says the extra 2 years are exclusive to jackery.com, so confirm with Jackery which applies to your purchase.
- EcoFlow: lists a 5-year warranty for the DELTA 3 Plus, and its warranty policy excludes products bought from unauthorized sellers and requires proof of purchase from an authorized seller.
On Amazon, choose a listing sold by the brand's official store, keep the receipt, and register the product with the maker; if a seller is unfamiliar, ask the brand whether it is authorized.

Best for: Measuring what your fridge, CPAP or router actually draws before choosing
The two stations differ by 300 W of output and 46 Wh of capacity; measuring real watts shows whether that difference matters for you.
Watch out: Measure over a full day for cycling appliances like refrigerators, not a single reading.
